Government Polytechnic Ahmedabad
Government Polytechnic, Ahmedabad was established in the year 1957 and has been a pioneer among all state government polytechnic institutes offering diplomas in Technical Education, in Gujarat state. It is one of the oldest educational institutes of the World Heritage city of Ahmedabad. The institute offers fourteen different diploma programs under Commissionerate of Technical Education (CTE) and is affiliated with Gujarat Technological University(GTU).
The institute is located right in the heart of the city and has been for many years, the first choice among
students for their admission.
AICTE – VAANI
AICTE - VAANI is committed to the development of
quality technical education in the country by initiating various schemes launched by Govt. of India.
AlCTE-Vibrant Advocacy for Advancement and Nurturing of Indian Languages (VAANI) scheme promotes Indian languages among faculty members and students to improve the teaching-learning process. The AICTE- VAANI scheme will help in creating knowledge base in local language and will encourage creation of a treasure of latest technical knowledge incorporating the newest developments in regional languages. The scheme will also promote the promotion of research papers in the regional languages and further enhance the
